Rumours of the death of NCAA Division 1 men’s gymnastics program at Cal Berkeley have been exaggerated. There’s still hope. But not much time.

A committee from Cal Gymnastics Forever met with the Athletic Director, Sandy Barbour & Deputy Athletic Director Steve Holten on March 2nd 2011. It was spelled out very clearly that the Chancellor was open to the idea reinstatement if we come to the table with 4 million dollars in pledges spanning a 5 year period. …
