August 6th, 2009 Dean Potter free climbed the extremely difficult top section of the Eiger in Switzerland. And B.A.S.E. jumped down. That flight, 3min, is the longest recorded to date.
His only “protection” was the 5-6lb B.A.S.E. jumping parachute.

Potter: I practiced different dismounts and stuff, but it’s hard to really prepare for a fall that you don’t know is going to happen.
