A weird story from Gymblog Brazil linked from Triple Full.

Superstar gymnasts Jade Barbosa, Daiane dos Dos Santos, and a number of others complained in the Brazilian press:

coaches ignored medical complaints

limit of 800 calories of food a day at the national training center

forbidden to drink water during training

were humiliated by the coaches

There were threats and counter threats of law suit.
