FIG L2 Academy Colombia

The Colombia Gymnastics Federation is having a very busy year.

After organising the 9th World Games in Cali, the federation has decided to also host three FIG Academies. An Academy for Trampoline Gymnastics finished in September and now another Academy – a Level 2 for Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics has just finished in Cali. Next week, the federation will be hosting an Academy for Rhythmic Gymnastics.

The participation at this Academy was partially funded by the FIG through the FIG Development Fund for the Pan-American Gymnastics Union (PAGU). PAGU has used a significant portion of the money from the FIG Development Fund to subsidize the attendance of coaches at Academies and that policy has been enormously successful. …
