What a great season we’re having. These were the season high scores for both teams.
Memorable night for LSU gymnastics in Tide loss:
… record 8,574 fans, the largest crowd in LSU gymnastics history.
… “It felt amazing to get such a high (team) score,” Courville said. “The loss is disappointing, but our performance was definitely not something to be upset about.”
A record $108,000 was raised for Foundation 56, former LSU linebacker Bradie James’ foundation to raise money for breast cancer research.

Mincie and coach D-D Breaux were interviewed last week on GymCastic.
As much as I love her passion, the crowd appeal, the sassiness, and originality, I still don’t see that as the best Floor routine in the NCAA.
“It was just an extraordinary night of college gymnastics,” UA head coach Sarah Patterson said. “It was loud, it was rocking and both teams put up great performances.”
… “The pressure was on Ashley (Priess) just like it was at the national championships last year and she came through, like she always does in these situations,” Patterson said.

Who do you think is the best in the country on floor? I’m not agreeing or disagreeing, just wondering:)
I haven’t followed Floor closely enough.
And it’s difficult to tell on YouTube who’s got the most compelling routine.
But one routine I like better is Jessica Savona, on her same team.
Lloimincia’s 2nd pass is a bit weak. She’s not all that clean. Jumps are HIGH, though.
… I rate every potential Floor Champion against McCool.
Lloimincia is not in the same league as McCool.
Ya McCool was perfect! And Savona is really good too:) I want her and Kytra Hunter to throw their Dos Santos’s at NCAA finals. It’s not going to happen but I can dream! I live in Southern California and I am actually going to NCAAs and I am so excited!
I’ll see you there. My guess is that Savona will do the Arabian by end of season. It’s one of her best skills.
