flipbook – gymnastics social network

I’m trying flipbook.

It’s not Facebook. But rather a SAFE place where people (mostly kids, I’m guessing) can post text, photos and videos.

The community is quite small, so far. flipbook will only take off if enought people join.

… Best chance of success would be if some clubs decided to use it for all their gymnasts. And it spread club-to-club.

Check out flipbook. Free. Registration required.

I’ll likely drift away as, astonishingly, there’s no RSS feed to notify me of new posts.

I’ve been trying it out yesterday. All a bit of a jumble. I’d like to see it more structured but good for a first Gymnastics Social Network sort of thing. I’ll keep trying it out and see how I get on.

Gymnastike has this. It’s called groups: http://www.gymnastike.org/groups
Coaches can make a group for their club team, then invite members to join. You can easily send messages to members and/or fans, parents, etc. You can also: update a team calendar, upload and share team forms and documents, and upload and organize videos of your team…. and its free!

Heres an example -http://www.gymnastike.org/group/5263-Team-Gymnastike

Thanks Anne. I added your comment to this post:

Seems the ideal compromise.
