Hahaha I love how your first sentence is she’s a drama queen. Hilarious, but very true. She had posted a montage asking for money to help restore her hard drive but after a bunch of people told her to just start from scratch like everyone else she took it down.
Ah, the drama! Nobody stops making montages forever.
And if you do that kind of thing regularly, that’s what external hard drives are for, too.
That girl has issues. Do you know she posts under literally 40 names and goes around agreeing with herself.

I completely agree with this whole post. LOVE the montages the girl spits out but she is a load of drama and needs plenty of attention to keep chugging along.

Yeah I was a drama queen! Haha. But remember I just turned 18. I didn’t think anyone would ever pay attention to me. My hard drive did crash. I lost much more than video clips. I had very personal irreplacable stuff on the drive that was very important to myself and my family so I did need the money. But after they saw I asked for help, they assured me the stuff wasn’t that important so I took the video down. I’ve improved a lot with the drama so I do hope I’m better now
it’s not a popularity contest anyways. I make montages for me cause I love it and if people don’t like me then I don’t mind. I don’t know them n they don’t know me. It’s pointless to argue and I get that now. This is not my last montage! So I am editing again. Enjoy! Thanks

The online back-up services are safer than any hard drive, $4.95 / month for Mozy. I’m paying something like $3 / month for Carbonite.
SLOW restore process, though, if you need a lot of files back.
I plan on posting a lot more! I found it was actually a blessing in disguise that I lost everything. I was losing focus and I had so many projects started that they would just sit on my hard drive and I’d forget about them. I never knew what to edit and I was just so overwhelmed. I started editing again recently just to see how editing on my new laptop would be and I got addicted
I’m not reuploading my old footage- I’m just downloading newer stuff so it keeps me much more focused. I get attached to things way too easily (that’s why I was always such a drama queen! my videos were so personal to me that any bad comment would cause me to would blow up because it hurt to hear negative things (I was 15 when I started youtube!), but i’ve learned not to take it personally anymore. I still slip up now and again but shoot me for having a big heart haha). Now I’m figuring out what is actually important and you can plan on seeing my montages for forever haha
