The pageant takes place at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 7:00PM CST. You can watch it on TLC.

I saw her judging on TV during preliminaries. I don’t know if it’s an honor…but she is right for the job. Champion gymnasts know a thing or two about poise under pressure!
I agree, she’s definitely got some insider-type knowledge to judge. That being said, does anyone find it odd that her twitter is all about her DWTS friends & other non-gymnast people. It almost seems like she is trying to make a point that she’s not interested in her gymnastics past. Nastia’s always talking about her own non-gymnastics endeavors but always highlights her gymnastics stuff too, equal. Its like Shawn shuns her relation to the sport that put her on top.

Ya not the best pic but her own pic in her evening gown @the Ms America show was awesome. She’s one of the few gymnast that knows how to wear normal clothes outside the gym! (remember the mag 7 and some of their horrid out & about outfits!)

personally i think alicia sacramone does the best with “normal” clothes. she looks amazing and has incredible fashion sense. nastia also looks great generally.
OMG, alexandrite105, can you give us a break and stop putting Shawn Johnson down???!!! We know you are over-obsessed with Nastia Liukin, but is it really necessary for you to belittle everything about Shawn Johnson (and Shannon Miller)? How much does WOGA or Nastia pay you to post these comments in different gym forums and blogs?? Geez, get a life!!!
luvgym you are cracking me up! i don’t wanna be too harsh cuz i know you must a youngster, maybe 5th or 6th grade, but just b/c someone has an opinion about SJ or NL or SM that differs from your’s, maybe don’t let it bother you so much. this obvious need that you have to betlittle someone who thinks differently than you might not be the best habit to form. Like, seriously, OMG, geez, get a life.
Hi tlm, actually I’m a NCAA gymnast myself. I posted #7 comment because I found out that alexandrite105 posted TONS of this kind of comments about Shawn Johnson and Shannon Miller in IG Forum and here. You keep tabs on people with certain opinions from site to site… crazy
I heard that the same small group of people post in almost all gym forums/boards and blogs. So no matter where you go, the majority of comments you read are basically made by the same 20 or 30 people. In my opinion these gym fans do need to get a life unless they got paid to do so.
i don’t put shawn johnson down, i merely state that nastia is the better gymnast. i think shawn johnson is the better athlete, but not the better gymnast. i do give credit where credit is due, actually. i love her floor tumbling and her bars and beam dismount are incredible. some passes/skills in her beam are incredible as well, as is her vault. i don’t put her down, i just have a preference for someone else.
also, i have NEVER put shannon down either! she is one of my all time favorite gymnasts. the only thing i ever said that could be (SEVERELY) misinterpreted could be in another article here when i said that nastia having a meet named after her was not discrediting what shannon has done. how the hell is that putting shannon down!?!? check out some of the stuff i just posted on ig forum yesterday defending her concering 1994 team worlds. good. grief.
on a side note, about people going on different blogs, yes, of course they do, because different blogs have different perspectives and different articles, news, information, etc.
OMG somebody goes around to different sites and posts comments you don’t like, luvgym? Well heavens to betsy, make sure and get all bent out of shape about it. And you’re an NCAA gymnast? Interesting, cause to me an NCAA gymnast on a Sunday afternoon I would more picture catching up on schoolwork, visiting home, or getting out and about, not posting observant, yet shallow and whiny comments on a site, then going back to it an hour and a half later to see if it needs to be done again, although I’m def not trying to take away your right to do so. Funny, isn’t it?
