From ThePenguin888. Where does Justin get this footage?
Young Japanese girls competing double double on Floor. And much more. Mega difficulty with questionable form and technique.
Still … Japan is the most underrated nation in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics. They’ve never had any “politics” on the judging side.

Yes, it is nice to see the Japanese gymnasts on the rise but I kind of preferred it when they did lower difficulty with perfect form.
Suzuki’s Amanar is not good (this seems to be the year of bad Amanars) and, while the skills in Murakami’s beam routine are impressive, it’s not that pleasant to watch due to the bent legs etc.
Despite this, they will be still be able to produce useful scores for the team and Japan could be right up there come 2012. I see the distance between the top 5 teams narrowing quite a lot this quad and it’s going to be very interesting to see who comes out on top. My guess right now is the USA but I’d really love a bit of a surprise.
Wow, triple turn connected to back layout stepout on beam would be quite the accomplishment. Amazing combination.
