I don’t know about durability but my little cousin has these and he and his cousins (other side of the family) run on them for 3 and a half years and they’re still going strong
I’ve seen these at several different dojos (like for karate), and we got some for our exercise space and they’ve been okay so far. Watch out though: there’s a couple different brands I’ve seen used (I can’t remember which off the top off my head), and some of them are really slippery. Which you notice a lot if you’re using them for karate tournaments.
We’ve had them for about a year, and haven’t had any problems with durability. It’s far from a custom installation, so in some places, they may slide or disalign occasionally. Here’s a picture of a section of our gym covered with them: http://www.upstate-gymnastics.com/images/gym6.jpg . I should also say I googled to find an appropriate example image, we didn’t use that website. I’ve seen them in Sam’s Club even.
We had them for arround our trampoline… they slid around alot and end up getting ripped and thrown in the garbage.
