confirmed to Inside Gymnastics that she plans to return to competitive gymnastics after the conclusion of Dancing with the Stars. “Definitely,” she said of her return to the gym. “After the show, I’ll get back in the gym, start with gymnastics again and see where it takes me.”

I have heard too many conflicting interviews from Shawn so I shall believe it when I see it (and I honestly could care less whether she does continue or not)

Yeah I won’t believe it until I see it.
She’s been under contract to not tell the truth about her future for the last 3 months. It’s not really her fault.

good for shawn that she wants to continue. i wish her the best on the show also.
It’s great she is taking some time to enjoy other things. Her heart will be in the right place when she decides whether she wants to compete again or move on. It’s really emotionally draining at their level so I’m proud of these girls for enjoying life however works for them.
In any case checking out the competition on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars site, watching this will definitely be fun(nny). It’s always different with that show.
