German star Fabian Hambüchen and Olympic all-around silver medalist Kohei Uchimura headline the 33rd “Tournament of Masters” in Cottbus, Germany, which begins Friday.
The traditional “Turnier der Meister” is the second World Cup meet this year after the Gymnix event in Montreal. Several countries are regrouping after the Olympic Games in Beijing last year, but Cottbus stilll has managed to draw an exciting field of 111 gymnasts. …

Here’s a video on Charles Thibault that Julien Roberge and I worked on together.
Thibault, who trains at ITECQ in Quebec City, is currently ranked as the second best male trampolinist in the country.
The video includes parts of an interview I conducted with Thibault after he won the 2nd Quebec Cup on February 28th in Saint-Hyacinthe. The compulsory routine shown in the video is from this same meet and the optional work is from some of his previous training sessions.

Elite Canadian gymnast Taylor Lindsay-Noel was injured July 15, 2008 when “attemping a complex high bar dismount from the parallel uneven bars”.
She’s since been paralyzed from the neck down.
Taylor is currently a patient at Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Centre.
My name is Taylor Lindsay-Noel. If you are reading this it means you heard of me and have an interest in finding out more or supporting me on my miracle journey to walk again.

This was filmed on March 7, the morning after Utah’s home meet against Arizona State. The Utah team typically conditions twice a week during season, with one of the workouts being mid-morning on Saturdays so they can take the remainder of the weekend off.

… The Netherlands team will be Wyomi Masela and Lieke Wevers. Lieke is Sanne Wevers twin sister and has strong routines on bars and beam and an elegant floor routine. Like her sister she has difficult turns on beam. This is her bars routine from the recent Dutch Euro Trials even though she fell she has potential to score highly and I hope she gets into the final this weekend. …
