Carly Patterson first Pop album

Amy recommended “Time to Wake up“.

Must admit … it’s catchy. I immediately bought it on iTunes, just to support an ex-gymnast.

2004 Olympic all-around champ Carly Patterson has released her first album, Back to the Beginning with Musicmind Records. Patterson, now 20, names Kelly Clarkson and Christina Aguilera as her musical influences. Her previously released single, Temporary Life (Ordinary Girl) is on this album, along with 10 other tracks. (She co-wrote half of them.)

Hmm. iTunes recommends Rockstar by Jordan McCoy … if I like Carly. Something tells me I don’t fit the demographic for a Carly Patterson fan.

I haven’t visited MySpace in years so haven’t had to endure those incredibly ugly web pages.

YouTube seems to be taking up where MySpace left off.

Is Carly’s YouTube channel home page hard to read, or what?

Cirque du Soleil Casting Fan Page

Great idea. I’ve never quite understood the value of those Facebook Fan pages, though.

I don’t seem to get updates on my home page from my Fan pages … except for direct emails.

The next audition in Vegas is September 19-21, 2009.

Luke Strong the next Jason Burnett?

A 15yr-old trampolinist from the City of Liverpool Trampoline Club is drawing comparisons to the Silver medalist in Beijing, Jason Burnett.

His name is Luke Strong and, like Jason did, he’s doing BIG difficulty at a young age.

Click PLAY or watch Luke on YouTube.

Luke is now coached by Jay Scouler. He started out at Propulsion Trampoline Club where he was coached by Andy Wild.

Seems there’s a lot of acrobatic talent coming out of the U.K. leading up to the London Olympics.

Thanks MissEducated.
