This Texas Dreamer got a perfect score on Beam today. I want to see that routine.

Her Bars were not quite as good. Only 9.875. 🙂

More bad press for the sport:
Gymnasts Accuse Colorado Coach Of Sex Abuse, Torture
CBS Denver – February 9, 2012
In that article, some of his former athletes get much more specific in their allegations:
Anne Malver (now age-51)
Denise Gallion (now age-50)
Charmaine Carnes
A fourth did not reveal her name, but claims Boger got her pregnant at age-15, leading to an abortion.
Taime Evans-Vincelli, is (painfully) specific in what happened to her in comments #34 and #35 on this post – in defence of Doug Boger
Reacting to former Boger athletes who defend him, Taime points out:
Just because a serial killer didn’t kill you, doesn’t mean he hasn’t killed.
In fact, Taime Evans-Vincelli was the sister of one of Boger’s athletes. (Her athlete sister was never approached.)
As I’ve previously reported on this site, many of Doug’s former athletes & parents have come to his defense. Many believe he’s innocent even in the face of damning statements from ladies who have not much to gain by coming forward.
As you know, Doug Boger was put on the USA Gymnastics “permanently ineligible list” list June 2010. He’s not allowed to coach at any USAG member gym.
But that doesn’t stop him from coaching at non-affiliated gyms.
Is Doug Boger coaching now?

Ten days after the United States went to war in the Persian Gulf, Whitney Houston performed the greatest rendition of the Star Spangled Banner in sports history.
On Jan. 27, 1991, Houston took the field at Tampa Stadium prior to Super Bowl XXV to sing the national anthem. The US was at war in Iraq and the game between the New York Giants and Buffalo Bills was serving as a welcome respite from the televised reports of scud bombs and cease fires.
