Routines like this are under-appreciated right now. With only one conspicuous error, Kristian gets 9.1 execution.

An error riddled routine might end up with 8.1 execution. 😦

Moose Jaw gymnastics

Moose Jaw?

Is that a real place?

Yep. I was there yesterday for the annual Gymtastiks Invitational. Here’s their training gym, impressive for a town this size.

The competition was hosted just next door.

One nice touch — an extra strip of Floor on each side of the 40′ x 40′.

Check Gym Score Depot for full results and photos by Stu Cram.

Back in the 1990s I spent many weeks coaching training camps in Moose Jaw. A fascinating town.

I’m now coaching at Gymnastics Adventure in Canada. We have a BIG Trampoline and Tumbling program. Love the sport. It’s so much more accessible to so many more kinds of athletes than is Artistic.
