Aerobic Worlds promo

Sofia, Bulgaria.

FIG Official – The 12th FIG World Championships in Aerobic Gymnastics will be held in “Arena Armeec Sofia” Hall.

There will be more than 370 athletes, representing 36 Nations and 6 continents who will take part in the event.

According to the rules of the International Gymnastics Federation the competitors are divided in five categories: Individual Women; Individual Men; Mixed Pairs; Trios and Groups (6 competitors). Each Nation is allowed to take part with a maximum of 2 representatives in each category.

For the first time in the program of a World Championship in Aerobic Gymnastics Aerobic Dance and Aerobic Step are included.

No female gymnast has ever done so much difficulty at such a young age. The Canadian Jr Champion (still age-11) is a unique talent. A trickster.

It’s going to be interesting to follow her career.

General Physical Preparation / Conditioning (30 min)

Apparatus I (50min)

Break — Most gyms allow a small 5 -10 min break

Apparatus II (50min)

Apparatus III – if time allows in program another apparatus can be done (50 min)

Flexibility (15 min)

20 members of the Aqsarniit Ujauttaq team (“Northern Lights Gymnastics” in the Inuit language) traveled more than 2,300 kilometres to compete at the Emerald Cup Invitational in Ontario.
