Pro Gym Challenge ESPN deal
Great news for gymnasts, coaches and fans.
… Brent Klaus, CEO of International Gymnastics Camp and creator of the Challenge, told FORBES that his property signed a three-year option (including this year) with ESPN.
”We expect a .3 share with ESPN based on past gymnastics events that have been aired on ESPN,” said Klaus. That would mean that on average .3 percent of all television-equipped households will be tuned in to the Pro Gymnastics Challenge at any given moment. …
If Klaus’ prediction comes true, it would not be a bad showing for his new property.

flipping for inner-city school
… 15 instructors at Vancouver Phoenix Gymnastics did … 1,010 full flips – to send needy kids from Admiral Seymour elementary school on a field trip.
At the end of an hour of flipping, the instructors – including Karina Ho and Siovhan Williamson, who organized the event – had raised $1,500.
“We want the money to be used for a physically active field trip,” said Ho, breathing hard after completing close to 100 full flips herself.
