Kalon Ludvigson FX 2010

Recall when the great Power Tumbler competed at the Artistic Winter Cup?

Nothing to it.

Kalon was never a gymnast. … That’s why his “Floor exercises” look so unartistic. πŸ™‚

The only double double layouts I saw at USA Championships 2013 were Leyva, Whittenburg and … Skinner.

Catherine of the excellent Beautiful Gymnastics blog suggested something I’d not once considered.

Might China bring a Vault specialist like Li Yiting?

If this was a Team Worlds, Li Yiting might have a chance.

But for Apparatus Worlds, odds are better for Beam and Bars.

We’ve had many, many weak Vault finals in the past. But I expect Antwerp to be very competitive.

I wasn’t ruling out He Kexin for Bars. But she was inconsistent here again. Most likely she will retire as planned.

Perhaps they’ll have a Camp with all the top contenders on Beam & Bars.

And choose the most consistent. πŸ™‚
