In my opinion, the most competitive was the category of Juniors II, among the gymnasts born in 1999 and 2000.
Andreea Munteanu, the all around champion of Category I, showed she is on the right path on vault – beam – floor. How does she manage to maintain such a level in all meets? She is making a name for herself as the gymnast who medals in all finals she qualifies for.

1.) the Russian National Championship, not an international competition, &
2.) not everything that happened. If you watch the full video, you can tell that Mustafina was goofing around with Afanasyeva. There was nothing mean about it in the full video; the gif was edited in a way that just makes it look mean.

For the first time I’ve seen, Taylor talks about the injury on Bars that left her partially paralyzed.
She under-rotated a toe-on double front dismount. A new Bars skill. No pit.
Every coach I’ve spoken with feels that skill is too dangerous without a pit.
