Wowser. 🙂

She works that rail like Nastia.
On GymCastics I heard that Catherine had the highest E score on all 4 apparatus at European Jr Championships AA Finals. All hail.

Personally I don’t like to much mention grip change and thumb position to gymnasts. Instead, I do specific drills to improve the grip change. Double back hip circle for female beginners. Various sole circle series, both forward & backward.
Don’t be too dogmatic on wrists and thumbs. It’s not critical.
Safest is for girls to keep their thumbs around or partly around in support, with the fingers or half way around during swing.

That’s from the AA Final. I’m still looking for her (unbelievable) 15.5 Apparatus Final routine.
Seems she’s getting credited for full difficulty.
Here’s her Day 1 routine, not nearly as good.
Now this would be fun.

Note the video does not show many landings.
Force elastic surfaces are great for take-offs, not nearly so good for landings. I’d use landing mats to absorb impact if I was lucky enough to use one of these.
What’s the price?
I don’t know. You’d need to email my friends at Eurogym in Belgium to find out. 🙂

This is the best video of this outstanding floor routine that exists to my knowledge. Groshkova has never competed at World Championships; her light shone all too briefly when she won a silver medal at 1990 Europeans. …
Tatiana trained at Moscow Dynamo where her personal coach was Elvira Saadi …
The genius of Tatiana Groshkova
The only other female gymnast who competed it, that I can recall, was Alexis Brion (1995) from Excalibur. In pike.
