Brubaker new CAN National Team Director

Congratulations.

BrubakerGymnastics Canada (GCG) is pleased to announce that Mr. Dave Brubaker will be joining the GCG management team as the National Team Director for Women’s Artistic Gymnastics.

Dave comes with a wealth of experience within the sport, having spent over 35 years of progressive coaching experience, including 29 years as club director and head coach of the Bluewater Gymnastics Club.

He played an important role as a national team coach during the 2010 and 2011 World Championships and ultimately the 2012 Olympic Games as well as numerous international competitions and major games over the past 30 plus years. …

At the same time, GCG is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Sue Ashton to the new role of Program Coordinator – Artistic Gymnastics.

The Program Coordinator will provide logistical and communication assistance for national team programs, program committees and judging programs in the artistic gymnastics program, working closely with the Program Director – Artistic Gymnastics, national team directors and the Program Assistant-Artistic Gymnastics.

GCG had many good applicants. Dave will be a popular choice with Canadian coaches. He has people skills. Is a communicator. Is strong on Age Group development. Will be objective and fair.
