sole circles and Stalders
The very best reason to teach young beginners sole (“Monkey Circles”) in series is for grip change. With high repetition they get very good at it long before they need to use the same grip change for Giants.
In 2013 Mark Folger posted a nice series of drills leading up to using a Stalder circle on low Bar.
