University of Georgia All-American gymnast Brittany Rogers will train for the World Championships this fall and return to UGA in December, according to an announcement by head coach Danna Durante.
Rogers, a native of Coquitlam, British Columbia, will train in Calgary during the fall months with the goal of earning a spot on the 2015 Canadian World Championship Team. The World Championships will be held Oct. 23-Nov. 1 in Glasgow, Scotland. Rogers also hopes to earn a spot on the Canadian Olympic team for the 2016 games in Rio. …
