Bretschneider GER competed his double twisting Kovacs. Fantastic. But execution deductions kept him off the podium. We need to get Andreas to the Rio Olympics!
Fabian missed his H Bar routine, as well. Germany MUST qualify a team at the Olympic Test Meet.

Personally I liked Sae Miyakawa for the silver. But I feel for the E-score judging panel trying to evaluate these amazing routines. It was a terrific final. Best in … ever.

One of the all time greats. Rio will be his 4th Olympics. Marian wins a personal invitation as one of the apparatus medalists on Vault.

Petrounias celebrated his win by dedicating his gold medal to his father, who passed away a few weeks ago. The Greek athlete overcame his rivals with a 15,800 score. His success in Glasgow means that he secured a place in the upcoming Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games. …
Not as good as his #1 qualifying routine, but the judges felt this was enough to put him ahead of the rest of the excellent field. Rings was the most competitive Final day 1, I felt.
