Karen repeated a skill, suffering a big deduction.
There have been a lot of crashes at the Pacific Rim Championships. In the Jr Women’s Bar Final only 3 girls of eight stayed on.
This WAG Code has too much incentive to add another tenth of difficulty, not enough incentive to try to save a tenth in execution deduction.

We just caught up with Georgia Simpson… She said she’d like to thank all of the fans for their encouragement and support…. For her recovery after surgery, she’ll have two weeks on completely non-bearing activity and then doctors will evaluate from there. We are wishing her a speedy recovery…

Georgia was performing a full twisting double somersault (on Floor) …
Much more competitive than the women’s competition.

Certainly a line-up of Amanar vaults might win the Olympics for Team USA. But it’s risky.
… Douglas actually sat Amanar after Amanar at podium training and in warm-ups, hitting only about one-third of the time, and only then after sitting one or two. …
Vault, of all things, was an issue in general. You know it’s an issue when Ohashi has one of the better vaults of the session, performing first in the line-up with just a hop on her DTY. Priessman had a pretty crazy Amanar with steps on the landing, Douglas had her horrifying ordeal, and Ross actually looked like she OVER-rotated her Amanar …
