double bed trampoline

First, I recommend to all parents that they not purchase any backyard trampoline.

All are dangerous.

Kids should do trampoline in a club with expert coaches.

Yet it’s worth checking out this innovation.

That’s the AlleyOop Sports brand DoubleBounce Trampoline by Jump Sports.

JM sent a link to TrampolineSafety.com recommending this brand over SpringFree.

tramp 1/1-out progressions

Actually, I’d call these 1/2-in, Barani-out drills. But the trampolinist ends up with 1/1-out.

Makes me happy I’m an Artistic coach. It’s much easier and safer to learn off-bed on to a soft surface.

food at Karolyi camp

Note the plastic cutlery. That’s to dissuade armed attack. 🙂

Reminds me of Marta’s camp before the 1979 World Championships.

Update. This post is a joke, folks. The food at camp is pretty substantial, if predictable.

Utah photos

Former Ute Jeni McNeil likes the photos on Utah Facebook right now.

The end of Steph’s FX at NCAA team finals, with Utah fans in the background in yellow t-shirts. Yellow? I know… don’t ask, it’s a long story. 200 followed us to GA. Best fans ever… Utes Rocked the House!

Impressive as Utah’s fan base is, Corvallis (Oregon State) pop: 45,000 draws more fans / capita than does Utah in Salt Lake City.

Thanks American gymnastics.
