It chose to host simultaneous Level 2 Academies for four disciplines – Trampoline-, Rhythmic-, Women’s Artistic-, and Men’s Artistic Gymnastics. …
A record number of sixty-eight coaches from nine federations attended but most of them live and coach in New Zealand or Australia. Seven experts from five federations presented the various lectures to the three disciplines with Keith Russell (CAN), the President of the FIG Scientific Commission, serving as overall course leader and teaching the theory lectures for all. …

… Douglas said her immediate goal is to be named to compete at the City of Jesolo Trophy on March 28-29 in Italy. It will be Douglas’s first competition since winning two golds – in the all-around and team competition as a Fierce Fiver – at the 2012 London Olympics.
She knows she’ll need to prove her readiness to National Team Coordinator Martha Karolyi at the next camp.
Kittia Carpenter, who has been her coach for the last seven months, believes Douglas is on track. ..

That’s not a skill for every gymnast. Perhaps only 1 in a hundred should pursue it seriously. You need to not only be very flexible, but also have specific body proportions.
