what the heck is limbo-skating?

You will have to see this to believe it.

Amazing 7-year-old Indian roller-skater Aniket Chindak:

“The wonder-kid, who started skating when he was 18-months-old, is now training for four hours a day and plans to break his world record of 57 cars with a 100-car skate in New Delhi.

“I first saw a girl skate under a car on TV two years ago and decided to learn how to do it myself. It took three months before I could get my body in the right position,”

“Since then, I have skated under lots of cars and have never hurt myself. …

Aussie gymnast Hollie Dykes quits – what a shame

A shocker:

Australian coach Peggy Liddick said officially Dykes was just taking some time out to deal with motivational issues.

“I spoke to her in December and she just needs some time to think about things,” Liddick said.

“I’m meeting her (in Canberra) this week to see how she feels after having a couple of weeks out of the gym.”

But Hollie’s mother, Julie Dykes, said her daughter had quit the sport for good and was not just taking a break.

She said she was prevented from going into details about the reasons for Dykes’s departure because of a legal contract with the Australian Institute of Sport.

Liddick said at this point she would not even be attempting to convince Dykes to come back.

“She has to convince me that she wants to do it – that’s how it’s going to work,” she said.

“I’m not going to force anyone to go to the Olympics. …

Hollie is clearly one of the best gymnasts in the world. I’ll be very interested to hear her reasons for giving up before Beijing.

flipping on a trampoline bike

I’ve tried the “trampoline bike” at Woodward West Action Sports Camp.

Fun. But dangerous. (If you land on top of the bike on the trampoline.)

This looks a better, safer version:
