There are many exciting things happening in Canadian Coach Education. Our competitive coaching courses – dead-tree-based since the 1970s – are going digital.
I’m right now with CTO Cathy Haines and Program Director-Coaching Education Elisabeth Bureaud at a coaching course. They’ve just announced a new job called Program Manager, Education.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Post-secondary education (and/or equivalent experience) in sport management or sport administration
• Knowledge of Canadian sport system
• Knowledge of National Coaching Certification Program
• Experience in administering and planning a budget
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office programs (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• French language skills are an asset

Trampolinist Adrian Wareham retires – age 50
At Australian Nationals 2015:
… Twelve-time National Trampoline Champion of Australia, Adrian Wareham, who won his titles decades ago! Ten of his titles were earned between 1987-1996.
At 50 years old, Wareham announced his retirement on this, his 43rd and final National Championships. Still a respectable performer, he placed 11th in Men’s Trampoline and 3rd in Men’s Synchro with him teammate, Ryan Hatfield.
Hats off to you, Mr. Wareham. …
