These girls are great. While watching, I had an epiphany:
If Cheer didn’t tumble, Artistic gymnastics coaches would enjoy the sport. Enjoy it as much as Acrobatic Gymnastics.
The turn off for Artistic is dangerous tumbling.
Am I right?

Katelyn started at GAGE. But she’s training at WOGA now.
I’ve only seen two girls ever who can bend over and touch their elbows to the Floor.
How about this?

Wow.
Kadtrampo recommends Carite Balance/Trampoline Shoes from this site in Denmark:
It’s hard to believe that 40 years have passed since Hazel and Kaj Carstensen set up their business to sell specialist Danish leotards and gym pants by mail order
Operating from a garden shed in ‘the back of beyond’ Carita House soon became popular with gymnasts and fitness enthusiasts who appreciated the quality, style and the unique ‘Carite®’ fit which really stood up to the action. …
There is a ton of Covergirl coverage online.

Menarche is the first menstrual cycle, or first menstrual bleeding.
… Girls experience menarche at different ages. The timing of menarche is influenced by female biology, as well as genetic and environmental factors, especially nutritional factors. The average age of menarche has declined over the last century but the magnitude of the decline and the factors responsible remain subjects of contention.
The average age of menarche is 11.75 years. It is about 12.5 years in the United States …
Of course with gymnasts menarche is often later. Intense training can delay it. And coaches tend to select late maturing girls as gymnasts.
There’s an interesting post on this topic on the Chalk Bucket forum.

As a male, I’m oblivious. The female coaches council the girls on menarche, one of life’s turning points.
