Rosie on whether she now expects to win Gold at the Olympics:

It will be tough. Unfortunate circumstances helped it happen today.
Everyone will be fighting for the top spot …

I congratulated coach Ken Soehn and Gymnastics Canada’s Traci House. They were happy with all the Canadian performances at the Test Event and feel on schedule for another successful Olympics.

Ken’s son, Keegan, who finished 13th here on Friday the 13th here says he needs a new tramp, identical to this one. 🙂

Chinese coach says HE Wenna is OK. She was caught mid-air by the skillful, alert spotters — but strained her elbow somehow. And some slight lower leg strain. We’ve got to get video of that catch. China owes those lads a pint each.

audio feedback on Bar

Sebastian is experimenting with an idea I’d never considered.

Click PLAY or watch it on YouTube. Listen for the beep.

What do you think?

Would audio feedback help kids figure out timing of the “tap” and “beat” on Bar? … I’d love to try it. It certainly couldn’t hurt to have more feedback.

(Lord knows we need something. Some of the girls in finals in London still muscle forward giant on Bars.)

This post details the experimental device …
