Mary Lee sat down with gymnastike to talk about her background: buying a gym at age 21, self educating herself, and eventually getting two gymnasts on the 1996 Olympic team in Amanda Borden and Jaycie Phelps.

Start with walk-ups.

Continue from there alternating toe touches until the gymnast gets ‘stuck’ in a balanced handstand.

Move progressively closer to the wall until only nose and toes touch.
