The top breakdance guys today are far, far beyond the best Artistic gymnasts. And beyond some of the best Acrobatic gymnasts.

When we criticize Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Floor for ‘lack of artistry”. Or lack of aesthetics … I always think of the Japanese Men’s RG Teams.

Those guys are totally amazing. Yet I don’t want Artistic to go that far. Nor do I want to see 6 tumbling passes with Zou Kai non-corner moves.

LSU gymnast Susan Jackson was honored at a banquet Friday as the 2009-2010 Roy F. Kramer SEC Female Athletes of the Year …
In her senior season Jackson became the first LSU gymnast to win the prestigious Honda Sports Award for gymnastics in 2010. She also received the AAI Award as the nation’s most outstanding senior gymnast, also a first in LSU history.
In 2010, she captured the first NCAA All-Around national title in LSU history and also won the NCAA Balance Beam title. …
Jackson currently serves as coach of Louisiana Gymnastics Training Center that trains at LSU, and she will earn her bachelor’s degree later this month.

Katelyn Ohashi and McKenzie Wofford … scooped up the top two places in the junior all-around in rather spectacular fashion …
Wofford and Ohashi also split the event titles on the second day of competition.
Dragalescu competed all-around.
