USAG red flag – Katy, TX

You’d think USA Gymnastics would be too cautious before awarding events to an employee’s Gym.

Bad optics.

Gymnasts were afraid to complain about Karolyi Ranch for fear of displeasure from the owners.

    1. The issue is that Dan Baker is an employee of USAG, the owner of that gym, and will be directly making money from USAG from that contract. USAG’s own conflict of interest policy states that it is against their policy for USAG to contract out to anyone that they employ. They seem to think it is ok to ignore their own policies.
