  1. Hmmm. The idea is good, but I’m less sure about the delivery. Early nccp stuff on the biomechanics of landings; The landing flat on the back should be practiced flat and a break fall introduced. The landing with rotation is ok, but it would be better to introduce some variation including backward roll and shoulder roll. What I see here is a bunch of kids lined up to do a single drill that misses the point. Probably this video was filmed just as a demonstration of the idea…and this isn’t what a class really would look like. By the way, thank you Rick for all the work you do maintaining this site. I still check in a couple times a week to see what’s new in the gymnastics world. Much appreciated. M
