I like Golf. But it doesn’t fit with the other Olympic sports. I’d drop it.

Nice write up but no mention that the Olympics was supposed to be about amateur sports. Football, Rugby and Basketball shouldn’t be there for that reason. The best athletes in those sports are getting salaries in the millions and the top teams are actually corporations – some worth billions. Tennis shouldn’t be there for similar reason.
Golf isn’t even a proper sport (little to no athletic/fitness ability required).
From what I understand some of the best players in those sports wouldn’t/don’t go to the Olympics anyway as there is no prize money. If the Olympics aren’t the pinnacle event for a sport, that’s another reason it shouldn’t be there.

The idiot who wrote that put Artistic Gymnastics and Rhythmic together as one sport, yet splits athletics into 2 sports. WTF?
