Why leave sunny Florida for rainy Oregon?

Sister Mariana Colussi-Pelaez has committed to Oregon State for the 2016-2017 season. (Leave a comment if you can confirm this.)

Their family is close. :-)

I’m happy that we’ll see Silvia compete NCAA more often. She’s a beautiful gymnast. UCLA v OSU next year will be a fun Beam match up.

  1. I guess this year at UCLA must have been frustrating for her without making line-ups. She’ll probably get more of a chance to compete at OCU. And being with her sister is an added bonus to being able to compete more.

  2. Having lived in Eugene for 8 years I can tell you that Corvallis is simply beautiful! She has access to both the beach and the mountains. Seattle is just right up the road. I’d take Oregon over Florida any day.. oh, wait, I did. I moved there from Virginia.
