The Honda Sports Award is presented annually by the CWSA to the top women athletes in 12 NCAA- sanctioned sports and signifies “the best of the best in collegiate athletics”. With this honor, Jacob becomes a finalist for the Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year and the prestigious 2014 Honda Cup. Hmmm … Jacob deserved to win the AA, and not to take away from her but really? They chose her over Grable, winning two titles & silver medal AA without her team at Nationals, or Wong leading her team to Super Six after losing her father?
