Rie Tanaka retires

The wonderful-in-every-way Rie Tanaka is hanging up the grips at age-26.

Recall she didn’t qualify to Worlds until age-23.

At the 2012 Summer Olympics she competed for the Japanese national team which finished eighth in the Women’s artistic team all-around. She also took part in the individual all-around, where she finished 16th. …
