I still hesitate to call them “for real”. They were apparently really on and hit some great routines. Loved that they held together on Beam after a leadoff fall, BUT they have to be able to compete like this on the road. I don’t like how much they talk about doing well at home because it’s home. I liked them as a contender more when they traveled with the intent to knock off the home team in their house… I miss the Gymdog swagger of the 2005-2009 teams. Some coming meets will tell if they can hit on the road.

Where and when and WHY did this kind of finish pose start in the NCAA. Who thinks this looks good? Does it look better in a large venue? I still remember the first time I saw them doing this. It seemed so weird I was confused what they were doing.
