“It’s the favorite meet for many of us. We’re not just competing for the team; we’re also competing for a cause,” (Kytra) Hunter said. “And for those of us who know someone who has battled cancer or lost someone; it’s fun to have those angels watching us compete. …
Aunt Joyce has some highlight routines including this one. Bianca Dancose Giambattisto tied for the Bar title her first time up on the apparatus.

I wish she had that dismount when she competed for Canada.

Except for the dismount, this one should have been captioned “ho hum”. Not denying it’s clean, but a LB sole circle?
That’s common in the NCAA. The bars are really, really wide.
No deduction.
Forget the low bar sole circle, let’s talk about the commentators calling her an “exhibitionist”. =D
Somebody *really* needs to explain what that means to those two ladies; they say that all the time.
The bar width is also the reason she (and so many others) can do that double layout – look at how she can stretch on those accelerating giants. It’s way tougher on FIG settings!
That’s funny NGM
I thought I had misheard when they said “exhibitionist”, but I guess not.

Kudos to Aunt Joyce for writing Bianca Dancose-Giambattisto more than once!
According to Webster there is more than one definition to exhibitionist ! As Bianca’s mother and being a Psychologist I question your comments.
To those who care about Bianca and her gymnastics , she is recovering well, working hard and developing well . Thank you for your support!
Since most of the comments here were about the commentators, it’s not clear why you “question” the comments. People are just puzzled at their choice of adjectives, which does not seem a propos.
I don’t know about the others, but to me an exhibitionist is someone who behaves in a manner designed to attract the maximum attention. In other words, a show-off. I’m still not sure that this is a compliment applied to anyone, gymnast or not.
I’m not sure what the commentators *meant* to say. Extrovert, perhaps? Performer?
[...] Coach Rick posted a video showing a bar routine from NCAA gymnast Bianca Dancose-Giambattisto. Somebody posted this comment: [...]
They’ve been calling anyone doing an exhibition routine an “exhibitionist.” It’s driving me nuts.
