The new Code is still no good on Floor if you can win only with twisting.

And where’s the Artistry?

Are they using the new COP for the Asian Championships? I thought that the 2009-2012 COP was still being used through the end of 2012.

no. they’re still using the 09-12 cop. the new one starts being used in 2013.

Looked kind of rough, regardless. At times the dude is very smooth (transitions and the like). But he crosses legs on the twists and also lands some of them bent over.

I’ve long thought that the leg crossing should be more seriously deducted. Perhaps .1 for every twist.

I think he can do a triple twisting double back, I saw it in a documentary once. But yeah he has no style and artistry :( . MAG should require at least one double salto like the WAG so that a floor routine won’t be a twisting fest.

A LOT of connection bonus in that routine.

Kenzo can do one salto twisting skills that other specialists cannot do and do it.
Other specialists can do double salto skills that kenzo cannot do and do it.
Is anything the matter?

[...] I complained about the Code on FX when Kenzo Shirai can win relying only on twisting skills. [...]
