Wait, I don’t get it…. Why is he discontinuing the websites? Did he have official support before but now doesn’t?
No, he never had the support of the Russian federation. He’s tried suing the Russian federation twice. Once because the gymnasts unfriended him on vkontakte and the other time because of Russiangymnast.net, alleging fraud and trademark infringement.
And no, things wouldn’t be different if Alexandrov was around. Alexandrov doesn’t like him either.

He is not you obviously. Didn’t read it or the support of people who appreciate. His work. My brother is kind and wouldn’t hurt a fly. He does have asbergers syndrom and is very passionate about his work. Read the comments from all his supporters. One of the athletes even contacted him to keep her site up so it will remain. Official

Seriously, all snark aside, as I have a relative with Asperger’s syndrome and I take dealing with this situation very seriously, his “explanation” manifesto reads like a stalker handbook, and left unchecked I would be afraid where his hyper-obsession might lead. It’s best for all concerned that these sights come down, he returns to his family, and if her really is benign, gets the emotional help that he clearly needs.
Alan is not the terrible person the people on this site claim him to be. The sites are staying up as the fans and athletes want. He has done nothing wrong and does not deserve to be talked about in such cruel ways. I’m glad he has overwhelming support on the other sites
