Original routine for our Pan-Am AA Champ. With a dismount I haven’t seen in a long time.
Jossimar Orlando Calvo of Colombia on parallel bars at the 2011 Pan American Games. Check out his dismount …

He uses Moy Tippelt to long swing (the “Bhavsar“), too. That’s quite popular these days. Sergio from Brazil uses it a somewhat similar skill, as well. (VIDEO)

Moy to long swing? that would be the Bhavsar
is this video anywhere else? I can’t watch it… Shows up as Green and black. I’ve tried three different browsers thinking that was the issue but in all three it looks the same…
Way cool! When was that popular in the past (if it ever was)? I wish the men would get more creative with their pbars dismounts. I don’t know as much about men’s gymnastics as women’s, so is it harder to come up with and perform more innovative dismounts on pbars?

sorry…No
two different elements… Jossimar use a Bhavsar…Sasaki make a a variation/new element as a front 1 1/4 long hang, he present the skill in Tokyo…but was see practice the skill around 6 mothns ago ….
Very cool
I saw a German gymnast do one at the 88 Olympics.
I can think of a lot of different P Bar dismounts that men could try. But currently there is no incentive to do a creative dismount, so everyone just sticks with double pike.
i love it!
Thanks for catching the mistake(s).
I have corrected the original post.
