This is not just a fantastic exercise. This is the clearest example of how to perform such a difficult exercise with its extraordinary artistry. Looking through the whole routine , you will not get tired of the tricks, as they logically fit into it. The main thing is that they are executed very easily. As a representative of the older generation, for this exercise, I ‘d bet 10.00 points exactly!
Wow. That’s stunning. I am not a judge, but I am baffled as to where they found so many deductions. Aside from being short on the handstand after the stalder Shaposh 1/2, I didn’t see squat. Even an untrained eye should be able to see a few of the deductions if there are that many.
“… idiotic execution judging.”
I wouldn’t say so. If they are following the rules, they are just being honest and doing their job.
Personally, I think tough scoring is how the Chinese come up with so many gymnasts that have such good form. Coaches want funding. They have to win in order to get it. They have to get good scores in order to win. HH is probably going to go back to the gym and work on that dismount, her bent arms on her jaeger, and whatever short pirouettes she’s got.
…and no grips.
Fact is every FIG gymnast gets nearly the same execution score, regardless of quality.
WAG and now MAG.
I have a good example from Yokohama I’ll post this week.
i would love for SOMEONE to justify this score.
The only obvious deductions I could see were *slightly* bent arms on the release (even though it looked absolutely gorgeous) and on the landing. I love that routine…it has a very natural flow to it.
Did she manage to avoid doing any blind changes??
Chinese judging is generally stricter
And apparently fictitious.
