In the end, potential for a big score on Bars during the 3-up, 3-count Team final added Anna Li to the list, showing it’s still possible to be a 2-apparatus specialist on a top team in 2011. Like Nabieva.
Though she hasn’t competed well, so far, as an Elite, I have a lot of faith in Anna. Good call. If she’s needed, she’ll hit.
The only prediction I saw that named all 7 gymnasts for Tokyo correctly was … Blythe Lawrence. Astute in picking Vega.
