She was a member of the gold medal-winning Chinese teams for the 2006 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Aarhus, Denmark and 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China. I didn’t think anyone actually ever achieved that position mid air. Such impressive form.
Classic Chinese perfection and form. It’s really amazing that someone like Cheng Fei, who wasn’t really the tiny, ideal body type that the Chinese national team prefers, managed to compete for China. But, of course it was her differences that really set her apart.
