A Sesame Street video has gone viral. It touches a nerve with many women.

The back story is of a very young African American child who wanted straight, blonde hair. Her Dad, Sesame Street head writer Joey Mazzarino, put this together for her.

“She really is loving her hair right now,” Mazzarino told CNN.

Saw the Chris Rock movie, Good Hair. Pretty educational. Except I think he misses the ball that they are doing it for men, rather than just coming up with it on their own.

I personally like short hair on a woman, white or black. Doesn’t get so hard and get in the way. I’d be cool with a tight curly cut or an afro or whatever.

Luckily I never agonized over the hair I was born with. It’s pretty futile to get all worked up over something like that. I know you can technically change just about anything on your body these days, but I can’t help think there are better uses for time and money.

I hate my hair. I wish it would go away forever and never grow back. It’s hell trying to get this shit under control. I wish I could have a permanent fresh cut lol.

I think they can get rid of your hair with lasers. I’m not sure.

I love my hair! It is straight and blonde, the most desired hair in the world. I think that everyone’s hair can be beautiful, whether they dye it or not. I personally do not dye or straighten it as I am 12 and know that it could take its toll in later life. But yes, I LOVE MY HAIR!
