Wow, just posted the same thing. Pretty awful but to be fair it seems like the Monsoon Season really has caused a lot of problems but at the same times billions has been pumped into this and they have had years to prepare!
My jaw dropped once I saw those photos! OMG is right!
Do the athletes/coaches/officials have the possibility of staying else where ie: hotel? I wonder if the arenas are just as bad…
Some teams / sports have already booked hotels.
The problem is that the hotels won’t be as ‘safe’, the athlete’s village will have the best security around. Apparently the English officials have said that there has ben vast improvement in the last couple of days but I think there is definitely more to be had. They have the man-power in Indian to get everything cleaned up if the monsoons don’t give too much trouble.
Does anyone know the age of these photos? They could be a couple of weeks old I guess

i think the conditions r now gud .n also the villages look gud now .i think stadium r well contructed and games village is also now v nice.so enjoy ..
