Her routine at the beam finals was her best by far, but it’s where she got her lowest score on the beam (wth). She soooo deserved a medal.
Oh my god, the commentary. “Jump with a kick”? “Not the highest degree of difficulty”? “Lack of speed”? Wtf?
Which is to say, that was lovely, and from a Guatemalan gymnast, no less. I look forward to seeing more from Ana Sofia in future.
Her spastic movement, bad form, bent knees and cheated jumps were not impressive. I get she is young but that was a routine full of skills done badly
